CURIOUS CROWD for HBF TEXTILES*
For Curious Crowd, our first-ever textile collection, we developed an eye-catching portfolio of six fabrics inspired by ocean species like colorful sea slugs and jellyfish. The collection ranges from modern, graphic stripes and polka dots to more subtle, refined knits - seamlessly creating a collection that is universally appealing, yet full of surprises. The line combines impressive textile performance with the playful energy of the ocean. The Curious Crowd collection is comprised of: Ms. Quilty, Captain Bubble, Sir Stripe-A-Lot, Sister Solid, Madam Dottie and Mr. Dimple.
The first ever outdoor stretch knits, Ms. Quilty and Mr. Dimple, as well as our twist on a classic cabana stripe, Sir-Stripe-A-Lot, were made possible through the collaboration with our friends at Sunbrella®.

MADAM DOTTIE
The undulating rhythm of a school of jellyfish inspired the repetitious circular form, which mimics a modern polka dot.
MR. DIMPLE
Interrupted lines on the body of the curious four-lined nudibranch sea slug informed the look and feel of this textile.
Mr. Dimple, along with his leading lady Ms. Quilty, are the first ever outdoor stretch knit fabrics which were made possible through our collaboration with Sunbrella®, the premier manufacturers of solution dyed acrylic outdoor yarns.
MS. QUILTY 2.0
Inspired by incredibly vibrant ocean mollusks, their oval, layered outlines are overlapped to create the slug-like, geometric pattern for this quilted knit.

CAPTAIN BUBBLE
This bubbly textile was inspired by the bubbles on the tentacles of the Mediterranean jellyfish, crafting a soft-to-the-touch, textural fabric.
SIR STRIPE-A-LOT
A classic cabana stripe gets a sideways kick after studying the entangled tentacles of the Pacific Sea nettle jellyfish.
Another happy collaboration with our friends at Sunbrella®. Sir-Stripe-A-Lot is comprised of their solution dyed acrylic yarns for superior lightfastness and bleach cleanability.
SISTER SOLID
This sea slug has gills on its back — a closer look, reveals a beautiful, dotted texture — which inspired this soft and delightfully bumpy textile
